Clarence Holley is currently the Defensive Coordinator at Shiloh Christian Academy in Arkansas, where he helped lead the Saints to a 2025 State Championship.
Holley’s coaching journey has been defined by steady growth through position coaching roles and expanded defensive responsibilities. Over time, he earned a reputation for maximizing player strengths and developing fundamentally sound defenders.
His experience includes coordinating complex coverage structures, installing pressure packages, and mentoring young athletes to perform confidently on Friday nights. Each step in his career reinforced his commitment to accountability, preparation, and execution—traits that now define his work at Shiloh Christian Academy.
Tactically, Clarence Holley is best known for his signature system, the Eat the Captain Defense. This philosophy centers on identifying and neutralizing an opponent’s primary playmaker—the “captain”—while forcing supporting players to win one-on-one matchups.
